Reported speech: exercise 1

Change the direct speech into reported speech.

Example: "I admire you."
She said she admired me.

"I will do it for you."
She said she would do it for me.



"It is too late."

I said it too late.

"I have replied."

He claimed that .

"I met you yesterday."

Sam told me he had met me .

"I cannot come."

Mary explained that .
