Make negative sentences in the past simple and past continuous.

Example: Did you hear a car outside the house?
We did not hear any car outside the house.



Did Sarah lose her purse?

She her purse. She lost her credit card.

I rode slowly.

You slowly. You rode too fast.

He was making noise at midnight.

He noise at midnight. It was early in the morning.

Paul and Marion came quite early.

They early. They were ten minutes late.

Were they sitting at the table?

They at the table, because all the seats were taken.

The burglar ran away.

He away. The police caught him two miles away from the house.

Did the sun set before seven o'clock?

As far as I know the sun before seven. Why?

It was getting dark at 7.
